The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities

National policy for housing is made by this department, which is led by Michael Gove MP.

Important documents to look out for are the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), which was revised and reissued at the beginning of September, and the Levelling -up and Regeneration Bill (LURP) which is almost at the end of the process of consideration in the House of Lords and is due to receive Royal Assent and become law next April.
